First off what's the difference between the two? Misinformation is the spread of unitentionally wrong information which is more innocently spread rather than with malicious content, while disinformation is intentionally wrong, which is used more for propaganda or manipulate others.

Both are problems for social media users because most things on the internet sound real, which could influence someone to think it's real spreading it furthur and furthur, an example of this happening is someone post that they have a new crypto currency, and most profits go to charity, but instead all profits go to them instead. This is an example of disinformation instead of telling the truth they used wrong information on purpose for their own benefit. An example of misinformation is a myth, a myth that is being spread at a fast rate with most people believing it, although the people who made the myth also believe it's true, getting a few details wrong about it making the myth inaccurate towards what they we're talking about originally.

It spreads by one person sharing and posting it the information to will eventually spread to others, with them sharing and posting that information to others, eventually making it bigger and bigger because of this with my attraction and attention to it spreads this.

Ai now a days have become so advanced and realistic that it's sometimes indistinguishable from an actual person because AI can manipulate text, images, audio, and even videos to their own liking, spreading disinformation and misinformation because of that.

Videos, and audio help the spread of disinformation and misinformation because sometimes the video, or audio can get distorted or altered by someone unitentionally or intentionally which can spread misinformation or disinformation.

People who spread disinformation either want to spread it for their own benefit, or to manipulate others into thinking a certain way, while misinformation is when someone believe a thing is true even though it's wrong and post about it to inform others about it which could influence others into thinking like that.

Fake news is related to disinformation and misinformation because fake news is related because it is the spread of information that is wrong which are often over exaggerate things which relates to disinformation and misinformation.

People fall for these so easily because human's are really gullible. Falling for such things is a common occurrence usually, althouh it's easily avoidable because if something seems fishy or too good to be true don't trust it right away.
